Originally from Germany, she embarked on her career as a veterinary surgeon before migrating to Australia, where her journey took an inspiring turn. Driven by a profound interest in holistic health, she earned a PhD in Alternative Medicine from the University of Colombo.

Dr. Sabine Wedemeyer then transitioned into the field of community services, dedicating herself to making a tangible difference in the lives of others. Her leadership skills and commitment to social betterment culminated in her role as the head of a large community services organization in remote Australia.
